Nicole (:Hello. We are your bothered bitches. I was trying not to yell because every intro I yell.
Kelsie (:So she went the opposite and went monotone. Hello.
Nicole (:So I'm trying to not scream.
Monica (:So monotone.
Ashley (:She's whispering now. It's
Nicole (:I'm trying
Ashley (:ASMR.
Nicole (:to not scream at you. Anyway, we are your bothered bitches. I am Nicole. The Yeller.
Kelsie (:Hello, we are the Bothered Bitches.
Monica (:Hello.
Ashley (:The Yeller.
Monica (:Bye
Monica.
Ashley (:Old Yeller.
Nicole (:Y'all are you a bitch.
Ashley (:Change
your name from Chatty Cathy to Old Yeller. You're the only one with a subtitle.
I'm Ashley.
Nicole (:Okay.
Your turn over there.
Ashley (:There's two left!
Nicole (:There's two left you guys, there's two left.
Ashley (:There is two other people on this podcast.
Monica (:Is she... I was like, she frozen?
Ashley (:What are you doing?
Nicole (:Are you there?
Are you alive? Ashley already said her name.
Ashley (:Monica and Kelsey!
Kelsie (:just
Monica (:Mine!
Ashley (:I didn't hear you. I didn't either. She's like a little mouse over there.
Kelsie (:I didn't hear Monica.
Nicole (:I'm leaving this in.
Kelsie (:I'm not sure.
Nicole (:I'm leaving this in.
I'm not cutting any of this.
Kelsie (:Since everyone else is speaking like mice apparently, I'm Kelsey, hello.
Ashley (:by process of elimination.
Nicole (:Now you're the yeller.
Kelsie (:I'm sorry if
that just blew out your car speakers.
Nicole (:What's happened before from me, so it's your turn. Somebody else take over the role.
Monica (:you
Kelsie (:You
Ashley (:They're prepared for someone
Monica (:my goodness. β except
for there's two over there with Kelsey. We have an extra honorary member of the podcast today.
Ashley (:to be hollering.
Nicole (:There's two over there that need to be introduced. Yes,
Ashley (:And it's not the fly.
Nicole (:and it's not the fly. Ashley said it's not the fly. β Tell us, stop. Don't keep it in anymore.
Ashley (:It's not the fly. Who is it? Tell us.
Kelsie (:It's not the fly.
Monica (:Who do we have over there
Kelsey?
Kelsie (:You're making me nervous, kind of like blushing. I don't know what's happening.
Ashley (:You
Nicole (:Well you don't, just save a thing!
Ashley (:Say the thing.
Kelsie (:I didn't know I was going to be like spotlighted like this. Okay. man. Okay. The long awaited β name reveal of the child that is here. She's right here. Yeah, there's a baby. Yeah. Yeah, she's right here. She she shot herself and got her outfit all poopy before so you definitely not going to see her because she's Nike. β
Ashley (:You're on the spot.
Nicole (:Yes! Yes! There's a baby! If you're watching you can see her hand but you're not going to see anything else.
Ashley (:She's here.
Yeah.
Look at those little baby fingers.
Nicole (:You
Kelsie (:This is Bennett Noreen.
Little Benny!
Nicole (:Okay, sorry,
I yelled, I yelled, sorry. Baby Benny. It's the bothered Benny. I'm so excited.
Monica (:Bini boo boo boo boo boo boo.
Ashley (:Good little baby.
Monica (:we love our little Benny.
She's so precious. Kelsey, Kelsey had her over there. We're looking at her like she looks like a little doll. Like she she's just so perfect.
Kelsie (:Yeah.
Nicole (:She is precious.
Yeah, she doesn't look real.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm. She's so
cute. She's so cute and she's so tiny. Kelsey posted a Instagram story where she was wearing her. my god, it killed me. She was so tiny on Kelsey. It was wild to me. Like a little amoeba.
Nicole (:And she's so stinking cute.
Kelsie (:he is.
Monica (:Tiny I don't know what that's like like seeing people with like tiny little babies
and like that I wasn't my experience but like But like she looks β
Nicole (:She is so tiny. I had tiny babies. when I saw you, when I like, Ashley, when I saw you wearing her, I'm like, β I just missed that. I love that little, putting them in the little cocoon. Yeah, she, yeah.
Kelsie (:She is pretty little.
Monica (:Mm hmm. Or like, love, β yeah,
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:She was my tiniest.
Monica (:I love when like they're so little like that where like as soon as you pick them up, like their knees just like come in like curl up and like, they're just this like tiny little ball. Yeah, the newborn scrunch.
Kelsie (:The scrunch. Yeah.
Nicole (:Hehehehehe
Ashley (:the little baby
scrunch.
Kelsie (:I feel like the most important thing is that she was born on our one year anniversary. We kind of knew that might happen, but we couldn't say it on the podcast, like of the ones that we had prerecorded. But yeah, she came on our podcast birthday.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Yes, she
was. She's podcast baby.
Monica (:I love that so much.
Nicole (:Anniversary baby!
Ashley (:Yep, podcast birthday
and Benny birthday.
Kelsie (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Benny birthday! Such a good day.
Monica (:I feel like that day is gonna
like forever just be like a super extra special day for us. Like it's just gonna keep building.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:For us, I agree, yes,
yes, it sure is. Listen, I'm not having any more. I'm going to live vicariously through Bennifer. Right, I will get a puppy, I'll get a puppy.
Ashley (:We should all have a baby on the podcast birthday.
Monica (:can I get a baby fish?
Ashley (:No. No, you need a real
baby.
Kelsie (:You
Nicole (:doing that. Sorry.
Kelsie (:Like, I don't even know if we
Monica (:No.
Kelsie (:were out of the hospital and she was like something about number four and I'm like...
Ashley (:my god. Instant baby fever.
Nicole (:I will punch you. This is not the time and place.
Kelsie (:There is no time and place honestly don't say that to me. β
He said that to somebody else. β somebody else that just recently had a baby. He said something about the next one and she looked honestly terrified. I'm like, honey, you don't know this because you're not a woman, but you have, we have to have time to forget the things that we experience. we do, we do block them out, but it does take time. And her baby is still too fresh for her to have blocked it out yet.
Nicole (:Agree.
Monica (:Yes. Seriously, the pregnancy amnesia, it's a real thing. Yeah.
Nicole (:Yeah.
Yeah.
No, yeah.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:When I came home with Phoenix, my baby fever was high.
Kelsie (:They're honestly still in the part that you have to block
out.
Nicole (:Yeah, but the most amazing thing. Yeah, the most amazing thing is that Kelsey did this like no medication, no nothing. She just went balls to the walls and squatted her out. That's so awesome. That's so cool to me because I'm a chicken and I would not be able to do it.
Ashley (:I had hella baby fever with the little baby. Yes.
Monica (:Yours was high.
Kelsie (:Really?
Monica (:I know.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:I did. It was crazy. It was a wild experience.
Monica (:You're frickin' amazing.
Kelsie (:Listen, if
shit had went down the way it did, you probably wouldn't have had a choice.
Nicole (:Probably
not. You're right. You're right. That is very true.
Monica (:That's true.
Kelsie (:because
everything was fine until it wasn't fine.
Ashley (:Surprise, she's coming!
Monica (:happening right now.
Nicole (:Also the other obvious
amazing thing is that, you know, we've talked about this on the podcast before. You had some tests on that were a little scary, but she came out perfectly healthy. So that's great. I just can't stop like anytime I think of Benny, I think of that because I'm like, we were all nervous in the beginning and she's here and she's perfect. And that we couldn't have asked for a better outcome, obviously. So, yay. It doesn't. It doesn't. Yeah, it was a long time ago.
Kelsie (:Yeah.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:That doesn't feel long ago to me, like that first test came. That feels like it went by so fast.
Kelsie (:Yeah. No, that was at 16 weeks.
Yeah, it did.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:yeah, maybe it's because that was like so substantial and such like trauma for everyone like involved, you know? And so I think like, I don't know, it just stands out as like, wow, that wasn't that long ago, but now look, she's here and she's a perfect little baby.
Nicole (:Collectively, yes.
Monica (:for real.
Nicole (:But yeah.
Yep.
Kelsie (:Mm-hmm. Yep. Cheers.
Monica (:β we love her so much.
Nicole (:I love her. I
just can't. just want to squeeze her from over here.
Okay, so anyway.
Monica (:Oh my gosh.
Did you guys see my TikTok that I sent you about Spencer Pratt? I know Kelsey saw it. Yeah. Ashley's like disappeared off TikTok. Are you off TikTok again? Okay. Every once in a your icon like pops back up in the chat and I'm like, oh, she's back. Oh, wait. Oh, wait.
Ashley (:I didn't. I did not see it. I'm not, no, I'm not on TikTok. I'm not on the TikTok.
Nicole (:Yes. β well.
Yes, she does. Yes, she does. She deleted a long time ago.
It pops
Ashley (:That's not real.
Nicole (:back
Ashley (:That's not me.
Nicole (:up.
Monica (:I sent one of his many recent TikToks, because he posts like a million, which good for him. But like, I don't know how much you guys have like followed him this year with like the Palisade fires and stuff. Yes, okay. Well, I mean, he's not the hero we expected for 2025, but he is showing up. Yes.
Nicole (:Anyway.
No.
I don't.
He's not.
Kelsie (:He's the hero. He's the hero we need. Yes.
Nicole (:but
he might be the hero we need, correct, yeah. I didn't know he was talking about any of this, because I don't really keep up with any of them, but who would have thought he would turn out to be actually a decent human being? Not me.
Monica (:Right. But so.
Yeah.
I know.
Well, yeah, so I mean, their house burned down, which is like, yeah. Yeah, yeah, their house. Yeah, so.
Nicole (:see, I didn't even know that. I didn't know that they were that like affected by it. I just, you know, I know they live there,
Kelsie (:Mm hmm. Yeah. Mm hmm. That's why
everyone tried to send Heidi's song to they did send Heidi song to like number one or damn near close to it. Yeah. Yes, they did.
Monica (:Yeah, to number one. Yeah,
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:did they? β good for
her. Wow, I'm really out of the loop. What is her song?
Ashley (:Okay, I think I did hear that.
Monica (:for a while, like she was holding it for a while. And it's so funny, like, they're not they're old. They are they're older. But like, kudos to him, like he has shown up being like the biggest like hype man for her and like pushing the song because that was their only way of being able to make money after their house burned down.
Kelsie (:She has a lot. Yeah.
Nicole (:was gonna say,
feel like he usually is a hype man for her, then he'll do something stupid and it's like, bro. β
Ashley (:Hmm.
Monica (:I know, but even that he's actually
like, has like come out and talked a little bit more about like the reality TV show days where he's like, you guys don't realize that really was just us making a show of it. Like none of that was real. Yeah. Yeah. It's been very interesting. All of us. Yeah. All of us have turned from hating Spencer from the Hills to now we all adore Spencer and I.
Nicole (:Yes, yeah.
Kelsie (:He is like actually a really fun person to follow.
Nicole (:Right, yeah, yeah, and that's kind of what I figured too, like the early 2000s TV shows were all lies.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:Yeah.
Nicole (:You
Monica (:But this video in particular, so he's very involved with it. He's calling out Newsome on all sorts of stuff with like the fire aid and like, like literally going to Washington, doing all these crazy things. But the one that I sent earlier is because apparently in California, they used some of the fire aid money to rebuild one of the parks. Whoever planned this and.
Nicole (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:And he said that that park
didn't even burn down.
Nicole (:Yeah, that park wasn't affected. They used it to remodel it, right? And then they remodeled it.
Ashley (:Mmm.
Monica (:Yeah.
Yeah, so it's wild and whoever decided
that this was a good idea, like as a trauma therapist, just...
Kelsie (:She's triggered.
Monica (:I'm very, I'm
Nicole (:She is, that's
Monica (:very
Nicole (:her triggered. That's her tea.
Monica (:frustrated by it. They remodeled it with fire trucks. And there's like buttons, there's buttons that like play sirens. Like these kids who were literally traumatized having to run out of their schools because their neighborhood is on fire have to come home if they get to come home to a park filled with fire trucks. Who did this?
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
No!
Nicole (:and fire engines, police cars, it's a whole theme. Sirens.
Ashley (:Whoa, β my God.
Nicole (:Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Ashley (:Wow.
Wow, that's insane.
Nicole (:And he like
pressed one of the buttons and the sirens, they're like real siren sounds. They're not like, know, chintzy, they fake ones. No, they're legitimate siren sounds. Yeah. Okay. And so then there was another one that's like the police siren, police car, and he pushes that one and it's like actual like police jargon talking on the thing. So it's like, that's so, that's so triggering. That's going to bring back so many, like I wouldn't be surprised if.
Monica (:Yeah, like they don't sound fake like they're yeah
Ashley (:One of the buttons is
like the kids crying and having to leave their houses. What the fuck?
That's scary.
Nicole (:the minute any kids go there. And maybe that's why in his video there were no kids there. mean, granted, could have been early in the morning, but you know.
Monica (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:I'm sure they
tried to do it from like a heroic standpoint, but...
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Yeah.
I don't think that. I think they, yes, I think it was incredibly tone deaf.
Ashley (:It's kind of tone-duff.
Monica (:No, let's, okay, basically here's my issue
Kelsie (:think we missed the mark a little bit.
Monica (:with that though, is that there's so many things involved with organizations for planning stuff like that, that have trauma-informed people and roles to think about things like that, and not one person flagged that and was like, maybe we shouldn't put the firefighters in the neighborhood that burned down. Like, how? I don't understand it.
Nicole (:Not one person. Yeah.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Mmm.
I don't either. Could have saved that for a different park. β It's your tea. I'm telling you, this is your tea. You're triggered by this.
Monica (:This could have been one of my WTFs this week. Right. Well, it's like,
Ashley (:Yeah, there's.
Monica (:it's that splash pad that we all went to earlier in the summer. Like they had fire trucks and stuff there, but that neighborhood never burned down. And there's a fire station next door. Yeah.
Nicole (:Yeah, but there's also a fire station. Well,
yeah, yeah, there's literally
Kelsie (:As playground,
it makes a lot of sense and it's not an uncool playground. It just was not meant for that spot.
Monica (:Right.
Nicole (:No, that was very cool. For that area, not a good idea.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Nicole (:You couldn't have come up with a different plan at all, like theme. Come on now. There's plenty of other things that kids like besides fire trucks. Yeah, I just think it missed the mark a little bit for that area for sure, think. you know, anywhere else, anywhere else, not a big deal.
Ashley (:theme. Yeah.
Monica (:Yeah.
Seriously.
A lot of it.
Yeah, literally
anywhere else. And it could have been fine.
Nicole (:Or maybe they were banking
on a lot of those people not coming back to the area. And that's why they were like, doesn't matter. Which is horrible.
Monica (:Which even then that's still terrible. It's like, let's just
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:rub that in that like you don't get to come back to your neighborhood because these people didn't show up because there wasn't any funding or whatever the issues were. haven't studied it. So, you know.
Nicole (:Yeah. Also, how crazy is it that
you use the fire aid relief money on a park that wasn't burned down at all?
Ashley (:Mm-hmm. They must have thought,
Monica (:I know.
Ashley (:they must have thought, this is for the kids. We need to give something back to the kids and it affects, you know, everyone, the whole neighborhood. And they only saw the perspective. They only saw the one perspective of the firefighters were the heroes.
Nicole (:Ashley, that's so nice of you to think that way.
Kelsie (:sure that I I agree I agree I
Monica (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:think the logic yeah I think it came from a heroic like
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:But who
chose the theme? The theme could have been anything that could have been fun.
Ashley (:Well, they did it, yeah, but they did it thinking this is for the heroes that helped save people's lives. Mm-hmm. But they just didn't look at the other perspective. They only had, it was one-sided.
Nicole (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:Symbolic, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Nicole (:Now I need to see, which I'll never see because I'm not going to go to that park obviously, but now I need to know is there some kind of plaque like remembrance, like you know what I mean, to like how some parks will be like, this park is in memory of such and such and then it'll be like whatever. So I wonder if there's some kind of plaque at all like stating anything about the fires. Like, you know, I don't know. I don't like it. I'd like to hear from the chat.
Kelsie (:Yes.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah.
I mean, maybe, but it wasn't... I don't know.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:I'd like to hear from the children because the Spencer doesn't like
Ashley (:Yeah, let's ask some kids.
Kelsie (:it
but I'd like to hear from the children. Are they really is it really triggering?
Nicole (:Yeah, true, true, true.
Ashley (:Is Spencer going to play
on that playground? β
Kelsie (:He has kids.
Monica (:He'll
be there with his kids.
Nicole (:He does exactly so I mean, I guess that is something that we can well and that was my other thought because Imagine being a parent bringing your kid there and maybe your kid was like Really little and they are not you know, they've kind of blocked it out or whatever They didn't really realize what was happening. But you as a parent, obviously you do Very hyper aware of what's going on. You bring your kid to the park
Kelsie (:It's traumatizing for the parents. PTSD for parents. β
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:No, I mean, I do
think it is, but.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:And then when the kids presses the like siren button, would you not react in some kind of way? You know what I mean? Like, would that not flood your sensory overload and be like, what the heck? just, and you're in the area that it happened. You know what I mean? Like, yes, it's triggering for the kids, but when I was watching that video, my first thought was like, as a parent, I don't even think if we went through something like that, I don't think I would be able to bring my kid to that park as a parent. I'd have to find a different park. I just be like, we're going to go to it.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yes.
Yes. All trauma triggers.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:you know, different park because I think it'd just be too much like initially and those fires didn't happen that long ago. So yeah, I don't know. I think it's a little odd if it was a park that was actually affected by the fires. I could understand it more. But him saying that it was not affected by the actual fires that has that is what has a sour taste in my mouth for me. Like, did the park actually need to be remodeled or
Ashley (:No, it wasn't that long ago at all.
Monica (:Mm-mm.
Mm-mm.
Nicole (:Did you just see an opportunity to take money and allocate it somewhere that didn't actually need it? know, so it should have been, I think the funds should have been spent on something else that probably needed it more. That's where my, it turns my stomach a little bit.
Monica (:Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yes, I'm willing to bet that
there probably were other things that could have been used towards to get families back into their homes faster.
Nicole (:Right. Yes, I'm willing. Yeah, exactly.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Nicole (:Exactly. I'm willing to bet that that money could have been put elsewhere, but
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Yeah, the whole thing is is very wild. Yes Yeah
Nicole (:to make a fire truck park seems like a little bit of a slap in the face, just a little bit.
Ashley (:Poor decisions by government officials. β Gasp.
Nicole (:Oh wow, shocker.
Ashley (:I'm so surprised.
Nicole (:So surprised. Parks and Rec, what are you doing? Okay. Anywho. Oh, oh, oh, that's right. Cause you're not, you're not on the Tikititakiti. Right. Right, right, right. I've been seeing some, some very disturbing things on the TikTak lately, but.
Monica (:I am.
Ashley (:Incredible.
Well, no, I didn't know any of that. That was interesting. Because I'm not on the TikTok.
Monica (:Yeah.
Yes.
Ashley (:Yeah, that's what happens on the
TikTok.
Nicole (:It's so intriguing to me, like there's aliens. Aliens are coming. Do you guys know that?
Monica (:Wait, what?
Ashley (:Bro, could say anything, no. You could say that at any day and there is
Monica (:How did we just take that turn? What just happened?
Ashley (:some hella like significant thing happening on TikTok.
Monica (:We just went from Spencer
Pratt to there's aliens coming.
Nicole (:Listen,
Ashley (:Well, that
is TikTok. That's what happens on TikTok.
Nicole (:I don't, that's tic tac, that is the tickity-tockity.
Ashley (:You... you...
Monica (:That's true. That
Nicole (:β I
Monica (:is true.
Nicole (:think, no, there's an actual legitimate name for it. Some people are trying to say it's some other ship. Some people are trying to say that it's an asteroid. We don't actually know. I don't know. It's called like Atlas three I 80 or three I a something like that. They've named it and it was supposed it was, well, okay. Okay. So it was supposed to arrive in November and now wait, cause this is tick tock for you. And now it.
Kelsie (:you
Ashley (:When's it gonna get here?
Kelsie (:you
Monica (:It's Ashley,
when's it gonna get here?
Nicole (:Yeah,
I've got to tell you because I because it's TikTok. So we know all the things because TikTok has all the information.
Ashley (:There, it's,
Monica (:I'm just having this like legit serious interview.
Ashley (:my God, I lost my headphone.
Monica (:When's it gonna get here?
Nicole (:I'll tell you right now
So the funny thing about this is it was supposed to happen in November and now they're saying that whatever this thing is, Atlas, whatever, has accelerated a lot and now it's going to be here or in our solar system, I should say. Not necessarily here, but in our solar system within. Well, by the time this video comes out, maybe we only have like five days left, but at current state, it's like at current state, I think it was like a week and a half or something like this. When I first heard about it, they said two weeks.
Now, now I think we're like a week and a half out from when they're supposed to be in our solar system, whatever it is. Watch it be a giant rock. I don't know, guys. I don't know. This is TikTok. But the funny thing is people are like, cool aliens. Like, does that mean I have to stop paying bills? No? Okay, then I don't care. And I'm like, legitimately, like, what are we going to do? What are we going to do until whatever this thing is lands and shows up? And then like, why do we need? Why do we care until?
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:this point...
Right.
Inflation's killing us. Nobody can buy a house. Like, whatever. β
Nicole (:It's actually here.
I still have bills to
pay. So life goes on, aliens. You're welcome. You're welcome to come join us and join the misery with us if you want, but shit, we don't got much going on here.
Ashley (:Life goes on.
Monica (:Right.
not missing out on anything down here, I promise.
Nicole (:Nope, I think you should
probably turn around. It's not fun here.
Ashley (:I also think you could get, you
could join onto the Tic Tac platform at any time, any year since it's come out. And there would be incredible like evidence that aliens are going to be here in a week, anytime. That has, since Tic Tac was invented, aliens have been arriving every single week, like since then.
Nicole (:And anytime, in any moment, yes.
Monica (:Yes.
Yes.
Nicole (:every week. So
do you guys remember the Miami Aliens? So they're saying that they⦠You don't know the Miami Aliens?
Ashley (:Nope.
No, okay, the last one, the last one that I heard about before I deleted Tic Tac, which was also alien, was the ones where the drones were attacking from everywhere and the drones were flying out of the ocean and all of New Jersey was covered in drones. And I was like, I got to get out of here. I can't do this anymore.
Monica (:See you over
Nicole (:Yeah, the plasmoids! Yeah! Yes! Yes!
Monica (:β yeah!
Kelsie (:want you to know...
work really hard to never be on alien TikTok. Like it is a full time job and I work really hard to not be there.
Ashley (:You should. Yeah.
Nicole (:love it. No, it's actually fun.
Monica (:I I need to I better go throw my phone out
like out of this room because if I log on later and I see that crap on my phone
Nicole (:way.
I'm going to send you, I'm going to send it
in the chat so it invades your algorithm because I, okay, it doesn't, okay, so it doesn't doomsday freak me out. These things like this, I actually kind of love doomsday talk because it's very intriguing to me. I get very intrigued where like the doomsday talk, yeah, the level of delusion that these people actually do have is what's intriguing to me. And also, you know what?
Monica (:Screw you, I do not want that in
That is one word for it.
Nicole (:At the very least, if aliens come, I want to know. I want to be like, hey, they were right. Like, that's kind of cool. OK, that's it. Anyway, you don't know the Miami aliens, actually. That was before the plasmoid things or whatever those drone aliens people were saying. But apparently, like 12 foot aliens were at the Miami mall and there was a 10 or 12 foot aliens. Yes, I'm going to have to I'll send you a video.
Monica (:My goodness.
12 foot.
Nicole (:Well, there was like a lot of police presence at a mall one time and supposedly it was because of a yes.
Monica (:12 feet.
Kelsie (:Can you just
send it to the a little bit bothered page so it doesn't get into my algorithm? could be in the a little bit bothered algorithm.
Nicole (:No, no,
Ashley (:Just post it on the a little bit bothered
story.
Nicole (:But I guess, I don't know, I don't live in Miami, so I don't know. But people are saying, I don't think they know either. I guess what had happened was there was a fight at the Miami mall. Then there was like a big police presence. And so people were like, there's no way that this gigantic police presence is only happening because of this fight. So then people started saying that they saw a 10 foot to 12 foot.
Monica (:my god.
Kelsie (:I don't think the people in Miami actually know either.
Ashley (:Mm-mm.
Monica (:β my gosh.
Nicole (:creatures and beings
and that yes yes yes yes yes so these aliens are supposedly coming in two weeks time from now or five days time whatever β next week supposedly they're related
Ashley (:They're related to the Miami aliens?
Do you think, wait, do you think though that at the Miami fight? Do you think it was like?
Do you think it was a chicken fight situation?
Like, they weren't winning on their own so they had to stack up.
Nicole (:Yeah, maybe. don't, girl, I don't know. There was a fight, maybe.
Ashley (:And that's why people thought they saw six, I mean, 12 feet people.
Kelsie (:You said chicken
fight situation and I imagine actual chickens and you're talking about shouldering up chicken like in the pool kind of game. Okay.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Monica (:I did too!
Ashley (:so stacked up.
Nicole (:And that's why people are like, there's 10 to 12 foot beings.
Monica (:That
Ashley (:There could have been chickens too, I don't know.
There might have been chickens and chicken fighting.
Monica (:was my thought process too. I was like, chickens.
Kelsie (:I was like, this is a cock fight?
How did this turn into a cock fight?
Nicole (:To be quite honest, it's Florida. was just gonna say to be honest, Florida is a whole place of its own. And if the animals, wow, if the aliens are gonna go anywhere, they're gonna go to Florida. That just makes sense to me.
Ashley (:Anything can happen. It's Florida.
Okay, see now if this little bit of information somehow made it to TikTok and like gained any kind of traction, this would be a real like story on TikTok just like your aliens that are arriving in two weeks, people chicken fighting with chickens at a mall in Florida. It would take off. People say one thing on TikTok and it's like.
Kelsie (:Florida, it's a hell of a drug.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:take off, that would be a headline.
Monica (:It would take less.
Ashley (:There's evidence, there's research, it's fucking real life. It's crazy.
Nicole (:So I don't know. Okay.
Monica (:my gosh.
Nicole (:But on the other hand, we're not going to talk about it, but I will say on the other hand, no, because we're not going to talk about it because I don't want to necessarily talk about baby Emanuel, but because of TikTok, that case is getting like solved because people on TikTok used their platforms wisely and you know what I mean? So that's what I'm saying. Like on the one side,
Ashley (:We're gonna talk about it.
Monica (:What an intro. We're not gonna talk about it.
Yes, that can be a positive thing.
Kelsie (:Yeah, TikTok is powerful, yeah.
Nicole (:TikTok is crazy and then on the other side it actually does get some shit done. So like sometimes when I'm on doomsday TikTok or conspiracy TikTok, I'm like, okay, we'll see because you never know. Like you just don't know with TikTok.
Ashley (:It could not be me on Doomsday TikTok.
Kelsie (:I need, listen, can TikTok
channel their energy to like solving mysteries? Like, I wanna know what happened to Maura Murray and like so many true crimes. I'm like, solve these. I need the alien crowd to put their energy into true crime because I think they could be a really powerful, really powerful.
Monica (:Seriously.
Nicole (:Yeah. Yeah.
Monica (:You know what, actually there was...
Nicole (:their energy into the true crime, yeah.
Ashley (:somewhere else.
Monica (:right? No, but that reminds me, like,
Ashley (:Yeah.
Nicole (:I agree.
Monica (:literally in the last like week or something, there was like a group of moms, there's like three or four moms who were bored. And they were like, let's start looking into unsolved cases. And they literally solved an unsolved murder. And I think that a big part of it was tick tock. I could be wrong on that part of it. But but the fact that they solved it. So it's like, why not?
Nicole (:Yeah, mean, I believe it. No, I would believe it.
Ashley (:Wow.
Nicole (:Why not TikTok? I also love religion talk. I love that side of TikTok because that's also just as crazy as conspiracy TikTok. I love that. I love to see people's different points of views. that's, you know, I just really like to hear what people have to say. I'm nosy. like, so I want to know what you think is going to happen. I want to know.
Kelsie (:that too, kind of.
Monica (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:I am too.
Nicole (:I want to know all the things. Tell me all the gossip. Like truly just want to know everything.
Ashley (:I like the religion talk and I like the conspiracy talk, but the doomsday can't do it. And if the conspiracies start getting too doomsday, no, no, I can't stand that shit. No, I hate it.
Monica (:I know.
Nicole (:It's fun. I gotta...
Monica (:Yeah.
Kelsie (:Conspiracy can go to doomsday too fast and I can't.
Nicole (:I like, I enjoy it. I do enjoy it.
Monica (:Yeah, you sure can.
Nicole (:I have to always like remind myself like it's TikTok. Take everything with a grain of salt, but.
Monica (:Yeah, hang on.
Kelsie (:It doesn't,
I have anxiety. So, have you, you guys know my imagination? β I don't.
Nicole (:I do too! I do too! Which is, I think, part of why I want to know. But see, and that's what I think,
Monica (:Yes.
Nicole (:see, that's why my anxiety is the kind of anxiety that wants to know. Well, I, hey, listen. Listen, I don't know, I am not a flat earther, I don't know if it's flat. I'm just saying some of their arguments are compelling, okay? Listen, I'm not for or against, I just am intrigued.
Monica (:But wait, isn't it, isn't it these two who also were the flat earthers?
Kelsie (:Yes, it is them.
Ashley (:I can go for a conspiracy, I'm
not going for a doomsday thing. β
It's possible. Yeah, I'm not a flat earther either. just, I...
Monica (:We'll go.
We'll go. That's the plan of the process.
Nicole (:I am just intrigued.
Ashley (:I can
see a lot of perspectives, okay? And I can see the perspective of the different shaped Earths.
Monica (:my gosh, we can't have a repeat episode.
Kelsie (:I don't want anybody to judge us because they are entertaining the flat earthers.
Monica (:That's a bit... β
Nicole (:I will entertain a lot of things, okay? What was that? Kelsey, what did you send us yesterday? the, will not kink shame, but I will kink wonder why? That's me. I will kink wonder why, okay? I will kink, I will not. I will conspiracy wonder why and I will conspiracy investigate because I'm very curious.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Ha
Kelsie (:She will not conspiracy shame, but she will conspiracy wonder why.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Yes.
I'll hear you out.
Nicole (:I will, I will hear you out.
okay, one last conspiracy talk. I love the Antarctica conspiracy, that it's like, that there's something beyond the ice wall. I love it. I wanna know more. I want people to go explore and tell me what they find. I love it. I need to see. This is like, this is one of those things. It's like Atlantis. Like I wanna know the things. And if somebody thinks that this is legitimate, I need proof. β
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah. Well, that one is really interesting too, because
well, that one is really interesting too, because it's not like the average person can just go down there and like fact check it, you know.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:No. And
you know, they don't allow people down there. that is what like kind of a widely known fact. And I think this is where the conspiracy theorists draw their things from, because a fact of the matter is that you are not actually allowed to do explorations in Antarctica and things like that. So. When somebody tells you, no, you can't go there, obviously, like the conspiracies start to spin. But I mean, it is intriguing. Like, what is beyond? I want to know. I want to know.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Right.
It is, I will give you that one. That one is intriguing.
That one I will entertain.
Nicole (:I will entertain that one and I will even also entertain Atlantis because everything we actually know about like the pyramids is now current day, present day actually happening, being proved that it was wrong. You guys can all look this up. They have actually been able to do like scans of what's underneath them and they found that they are actually more of β almost like a generator versus like a tomb. So I'm curious about all those things in our ancient history that we thought we knew.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Now
we don't know.
Kelsie (:I don't really like I know it technically conspiracy but like this is not really conspiracy because we don't know like it could literally be like it's more of like modern things that people like spit tailspin on that I'm just like
Nicole (:No, we don't know. Yeah.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:Yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I can't, can't, can't, yeah. Yes, yeah. But I wanna know.
Monica (:Yeah, or like predictions of stuff and yeah, I agree. How many
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the predictions
Monica (:times
Ashley (:I don't like.
Monica (:have we spiraled onto this conversation though on this podcast alone? Too many. We do, but...
Kelsie (:Too many, too many. We're not consp- I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I just-
Nicole (:like it. Listen, give
Ashley (:Not enough.
Nicole (:me a good spiral. I love a good spiral.
Ashley (:We should pick a co-
we should pick a conspiracy and really just do one full conspiracy. If we did the fucking cult episode, goddamn it, we should do a conspiracy episode.
Nicole (:We should do a conspiracy episode.
Kelsie (:Can we just not do a really dumb one? Okay.
Nicole (:Okay, that's fine. So no flat earth, got it.
Monica (:Yes.
Nicole (:Listen, a lot of the Flat Earthers are the heavily religious people. I am not a heavily religious person, so I cannot get.
Monica (:I know that's why
this is so astounding to me.
Nicole (:I just like the theory. I just like
the possibility anything is possible, you know? I truly believe that we need to question everything and that anything is possible and sometimes you can't believe what you see. So that's...
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah?
Ashley (:Yeah, I think so too.
Kelsie (:I cannot,
Ashley (:You're being lied to.
Kelsie (:I'm telling you, I'm telling you, God give me some money and I will go to fucking space. Just, I don't.
Nicole (:Yeah, I will too. I would
Ashley (:You know what, we should
Monica (:For real?
Ashley (:call
Monica (:Let's just ask Katy Perry. Yeah, Katy Perry will tell us.
Nicole (:love to.
Ashley (:up Katy Perry. Ask Katy Perry. She's such a reliable source, let's call her. No, no, no, that's as credible as it gets.
Nicole (:Can we get a more credible source, please?
Monica (:I don't know that we'll get a straight answer
from her though. She'll probably just tell us about how it's love, but that's fine
Nicole (:Yeah, yeah, yeah, how it's love. It was love.
That was the weirdest interview I've ever seen in my whole life.
Ashley (:It's feminism.
Monica (:I actually, I was like
driving the other day and was just like thinking about that interview. It was just like, so weird.
Ashley (:She lost her mind up there.
Nicole (:that lives rent
free in your head. She left her brain in space, is that what happened?
Ashley (:Yeah,
she saw the earth wasn't round and she lost all semblance of reality.
Nicole (:She learned the truth and then her reality shattered and she couldn't even form a sentence anymore.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Yeah, they
had to use one of those fucking blinkers from that movie on her, The Men in Black, you know?
Nicole (:the flash. β
Ashley (:You didn't see that.
Nicole (:That's why when she was asked about the experience she couldn't tell them because she couldn't remember.
Ashley (:Yep. Yep.
Monica (:She was just
so full of love. It just took...
Ashley (:You
Nicole (:Men
in Black references have been coming up quite a lot for me, I don't know why, but specifically, specifically Edgar, you know the meat suit, the cockroach in the suit, specifically Edgar, I don't, you sugar? Yep.
Ashley (:That's so weird.
Monica (:I do love Men in Black.
Ashley (:Yes.
Monica (:Okay
Kelsie (:think perhaps we need to rein this in and move on because this is unhinged.
Nicole (:Yeah, that's it.
I don't know how we got here. We got here. We got to a weird place really fast. Okay, sorry guys. Anyway, what else has been going on? β
Monica (:Leave me off with like sugar?
Ashley (:So the meat suit cockroach. Okay, anyway.
Nicole (:Shhh!
Anyway, okay, that's pretty funny.
Ashley (:Wow, it's also incredible how often
skinwalkers come up in this.
Nicole (:Oh
stop, no, who was it that sent the thing about the doodles in the chat? You, yes, okay, okay, can we not? I, I...
Monica (:True.
Ashley (:β my god, the doodles.
Monica (:They are! They're humans! Seriously, after
that I like went through tic tac to like send you guys some references and it was like video after video of them acting like humans and walking on their hind legs.
Nicole (:people.
Kelsie (:Doing okay with it until Nicole
said that they had people eyes and I'm like, my god, they do have people eyes Okay, the context the context of this is that somebody said a video of β it was no I started it I said I said there's this girl's talking about the dogs she would not get and One of them was and all of them had legitimate reasons like this breed is this this bread needs needs this
Monica (:I mean, they do. They people eyes. People say it's the CIA.
Nicole (:They do have people eyes. We have a friend that owns two of them.
Ashley (:Yeah.
A doodle.
Monica (:A doodle.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm
Nicole (:That's what it was. Yeah.
Kelsie (:and then doodles came on and I expected it to be something about how that's like, you know, not ethical to breed doodles. But no, it wasn't. It was, they're literally humans in a dog's skin.
Monica (:Yeah, yeah, people say it's
Nicole (:trapped in dog bodies.
Monica (:the CIA finding
their way to infiltrate people's homes.
Kelsie (:and
the dog is sitting there like a person and somebody in the comments was like, yeah, no dogs are skin or doodles or skin walkers. And then I, so I sent it to the chat and Nicole's like, yeah, they have people eyes. And I'm like, no, they do have people eyes. This is where I draw the line. β
Ashley (:You
Nicole (:Listen.
Good. β
Monica (:They do have people eyes. They
Ashley (:You can't unsee it.
Monica (:do.
Nicole (:I'm really sorry that I ruined that for you. Like truly, I'm really sorry. But it's true. We, we know somebody that has two of them. And every time I see her doodles, like in her stories, that's a person. And she's addressed it. She has said that one of them specifically looks like he has people eyes. And I'm like, yep. You just let that thing into your house? listen. Yes.
Monica (:They do, they have people eyes and they...
Yeah.
They do, they have people eyes and...
Ashley (:Yeah
Kelsie (:It's like I go to Hunger Games, they're like mutts, where the mutts at the
Ashley (:ECH
Kelsie (:end of the book have the people eyes.
Monica (:Yeah. Yes.
Ashley (:Mmm.
Monica (:That's what they're-
Ashley (:That's gross.
Nicole (:Okay, so
this episode is conspiracy after conspiracy because Skinwalker Talk is just, yep, things are freaking.
Monica (:Things that freak us out on TikTok. That's what
Kelsie (:Why we're
going down this, why we're going down this, I might as well. I saw this video, and this lady's like, how I close up the RV at night for safety. And I'm thinking like safety from like people, you know? Okay? So she closes the door, she locks it, she does like a special lock on the RV door, and then she goes to her windows, she looks out, and then she goes, no, she goes to her kitchen, and she gets foil.
Monica (:it is, things that freak us out on TikTok.
Nicole (:Nah, she probably lives in like Appalachia or something and she...
Monica (:no.
Nicole (:was this, all of them?
Kelsie (:and she covers the windows and foil and then pulls the blinds and I'm like, well, how, what does that protect you? Just so people can't see in, like, I feel like you can find a better way. No, no, The comment section was cryptids. It's to protect you from cryptids.
Nicole (:Alien Talk.
β I told you she probably lives in
Ashley (:Mmm.
Nicole (:Appalachia somewhere and there'd be spookies out there. Listen, there's rules. You don't do certain things in that area of the country. There is, you don't.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:There's rules.
Kelsie (:Well apparently
if you put foil on your windows then you'll be safe from the cryptids. I didn't know that.
Ashley (:Appalachia? I thought it was Appalachia.
Nicole (:I've never
Well, if you ask anybody that lives there, it's Appalachia, but it doesn't really matter who cares what it says. That's how I say it. Anyway, Appalachia. That's how I was taught.
Ashley (:Bellaccia.
Kelsie (:It's a, you can
actually spiral down that side of TikTok too on how to pronounce Appalachia. I have gotten there.
Monica (:Yes, I have done that. And
Ashley (:that's how to take. Yeah, that's I have me too.
Nicole (:Yeah.
Monica (:then I found myself in all the stories in the hiking trails and that is some scary shit.
Kelsie (:Yeah, I like those stories.
Nicole (:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
is the kind of conspiracies that I can get behind. You cannot convince me that there are not beings out there. There are not supernatural beings. I'm sorry. You can't. And this is probably how I got to conspiracy talk because I believe in the paranormal and then they just bleed into each other. you know, you can't convince me paranormal things don't, they're not real.
Ashley (:live there.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:I love paranormal
conspiracy. I don't like modern real life conspiracy.
Nicole (:Mm-hmm. Nope.
current day. Current day. Right. But see, I've heard of so many people, like, you don't want to sleep with your windows open at all in Appalachia because that invites things in. so her putting tin foil in the windows is one that I haven't heard before. That's a little interesting.
Monica (:You just want an interesting escape from reality.
Kelsie (:I mean...
Monica (:you
Ashley (:Mm-mm, me either.
Kelsie (:I should have spiraled
farther, but I didn't, so.
Nicole (:Yeah,
yeah. I get stuck. I get stuck on stories from Appalachia Talk all the time. That's what I get stuck on. Because I'm like, there's a well of information there, no thanks. Yeah. Speaking of paranormal talk.
Monica (:Interesting.
Kelsie (:Yeah, I have gotten there before.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:I love paranormal talk. I'm happy to be there.
Ashley (:That's like the gateway to conspiracies.
Kelsie (:But it's a slippery slope.
Monica (:It's a gateway drug.
Kelsie (:I don't want to enter alien talk and I don't want to enter conspiracy talk. I want to stay in paranormal talk.
Ashley (:Yeah.
Monica (:only if you give tic tac like some like boundaries you're like here don't take me across
Nicole (:Yeah, boundaries you could show me this and this and this but you cannot show me
Kelsie (:Yes.
Nicole (:this yeah I don't love alien alien talk is not my favorite. Have you guys ever seen the fourth kind? Okay, well don't watch it because that's the scariest movie I've ever seen in my whole life and it's got to do with aliens it takes base it takes like a Place in Juneau, Alaska and that or no, I'm sorry. It takes place in gnome, Alaska, but
Ashley (:Yeah, right, TikTok has no boundary.
Monica (:Mm-mm.
Ashley (:I don't think I have.
Mm.
Nicole (:Gnome and Juno are both like known. They're known for alien encounters, okay? And if you, I used to want to go, I used to want to go to Alaska until I saw that movie and I said never fucking mind. That's the scariest movie I've ever seen.
Monica (:Yeah, Alaska is another place that kind of gives me the creeps for no valid reason. For that, I guess. It's creepy stuff.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:could
not figure out why this conversation was giving me deja vu and I know it's because the other day I stumbled upon, you know that song, I don't know the name of it, but it's like, this bitch don't know about Pangea. You know what I'm talking about?
Nicole (:Oh,
I don't know what you're talking about, but okay. That's an interesting line to a song.
Monica (:I think I know what you're talking about.
Kelsie (:Little Dicky?
Ashley (:you're talking about either. It's a song.
Kelsie (:You okay.
Ashley (:It's a-
Kelsie (:Yes, it's little dicky and it's β Pillow talk I think β do you fuck with the war and he's like No, I don't
Ashley (:Mmm.
Nicole (:No, I don't.
Monica (:The way she's saying it.
Nicole (:Yeah,
the way she's saying it is cracking me up.
Kelsie (:Listen, if you know the song, then you'll be like, yeah. And if you don't, you're like, what the fuck? No, but she but the whole car, it's like a basically a pillow talk conversation after they've hooked up. And she's like religious and he's obviously not. she's like, I don't believe in he's like, what the war and she's like, no alien. And he's like, wait, you think that we're basically like, you guys have to listen to this song.
Monica (:She's giving Nora the Explorer.
Nicole (:I'll listen to it.
I will.
Kelsie (:You think that we're the
only people, he's like talk rapping it, like basically, we're the only people in this, there's like endless universes and galaxies and you think that we're an anomaly? And she's like, yeah, I call that shit God. And he's like, β so you religious bitch.
Nicole (:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Yeah, We're the only ones. β
Yeah
Kelsie (:It's you just I can't this is gonna make me sound crazy anyways I was listening to that on tik-tok because people were like making it into a trend of like dumb conversations they've had basically
Nicole (:Mm-hmm.
You
Kelsie (:Anyways,
that's very alien coded. You should go listen to it. It doesn't make any sense because you don't know what I'm talking about, but... Pillow Talk by Lil Dicky.
Ashley (:And that is why she has deja
Nicole (:I
Ashley (:vu.
Nicole (:will go listen, but that was why you're having deja vu about this company. I actually do think I've brought up the fourth kind before and I always tell you guys not to watch it. So that might also be, I mean, unless you want to get scared out of your wits ends, then go right ahead and watch it. But now that I live in the actual woods, I will not be watching that ever again.
Kelsie (:Yes, yes you have and you do.
Ashley (:I think you have too, when we talked about scary movies.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:I don't.
Kelsie (:Alien scary
is not my preferred method of scared.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:Unless
it's signs. Signs, I could watch that movie all day long. I fucking love signs. I used to fall asleep to signs at the kiddie.
Kelsie (:I like sides, yes. I used to watch that at night as a kid. Before bed? Yes, me too!
Monica (:Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:β you
know what's a good alien movie? Did you ever watch District 9? Have I talked? That's a good alien movie.
Monica (:Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yes.
Nicole (:Yes, that is a good alien movie.
Kelsie (:No.
Nicole (:Speaking
alien,
like content, I just finished listening to Project Tale Mary on Audible and that's by Andy Weir and it was so freaking good. I really did not think that was going to get it because I was like, this is sciency, like not just science fiction. This is sciency. Like he's a science teacher and like all those things. So fucking good. And it involves aliens. yeah, there's a movie coming.
Kelsie (:When I saw the trailer for the movie, I was like, I should read this book.
Yeah, I was like, I should read this book.
Nicole (:You should. You should listen.
It's a really fast listen because I think the book, the audio was only like nine hours or something like that. So I got it done in just like a couple days. But it was really good. And I really enjoyed the ending. was like, β I didn't know where the ending was going to go. I like, how do we end this freaking book? But I really enjoyed it. So there you go. If you like aliens, read that one too. There's more alien content for you, even though we don't like aliens.
Kelsie (:Currently on this summer
I turned pretty spiral so I can't be entering alien life right now but once that's over...
Ashley (:Mmm.
Nicole (:Yeah, what is that about? I've never... I have not gotten into it, but it has its own... that has a cult following.
Kelsie (:my god, it's so good. I need you to watch it.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:It does. Yeah. I just had time to binge in my postpartum couch potato life and I watched that like a day and a half. And I think there's only a few more episodes left, so I came at a good time.
Nicole (:Yeah, I guess. Yep.
Wow.
Yeah, see I currently belong to the K-pop Demon Hunters cult, so I don't know if I'm gonna be watching the summer I turn pretty anytime soon.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Same.
Same. It's
on repeat over here.
Kelsie (:I'll just have to keep bonding with strangers on the internet over it then I guess
Nicole (:It's on repeat. Yeah, I guess.
β but while you're in your postpartum couch potato phase, I need you to watch, maybe not. I need you to watch from scratch, but you will need several boxes of tissues next to you. No, but you could, you could. I don't know, I haven't watched it in a while, because I've been reading more than I've been watching, so.
Monica (:Ha!
Kelsie (:Okay, I can watch that. thought you were gonna say the office and I'm like...
Ashley (:my God, I've been meaning to ask you what's the update on the office?
Monica (:yeah.
Nicole (:I think I made it to like season four. I'm, you know, I'm there. I'm in it. I'm enjoying it. I like it. I just haven't had a minute to sit down and not yet. They're not, not yet. I know. When I literally, every time I turn it on, I'm like, when are these fuckers going to get together? Jesus Christ. Hi, Jesus. Um, I think they just broke up.
Ashley (:Mm.
Are Jim and Pam together yet? my god.
Monica (:β we, we,
Ashley (:I think it's like season six.
Monica (:Is Jim with what's your name right now?
Kelsie (:Anyhooser!
Nicole (:Anywho, let's move on. OK, so why don't we do... I feel like this whole episode has been a mix of like, wins, obviously baby triggers, β trauma triggers, random things.
Monica (:mostly just
been tickety-tack shit.
Nicole (:then spiraling about TikTok,
which is a trigger in itself. So, β I don't know, do we have anything funny to share? Anything funny that's happened to all of us? Not a lot of funny things are happening in my life currently, so I've got nothing except for, β I have a hickey, but it's covered so you can't see it. That's pretty funny. What married 32 year old woman has a hickey? Jesus Christ.
Ashley (:I don't have anything funny.
Kelsie (:I have a hickey.
Ashley (:You
Monica (:Someone
whose husband travels a lot.
Nicole (:Apparently. You're
right. I guess. Fuck.
Kelsie (:I mean, it's okay, because was it like just a couple months ago that I was like, Trevor gave me a hickey, who the fuck does that? Like we're adults.
Nicole (:Yes!
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:We are a-
Ashley (:We're adults.
Nicole (:I literally thought that this morning. I'm like, excuse me. I am an adult. Why is this here? I am a grown woman. What is this? But then I thought about that and I was like, those are probably the only people that should have them. Maybe I should not.
Ashley (:I'm a grown woman.
Monica (:You
Ashley (:Oof.
Nicole (:You know, it's not a bad thing.
Anyway, I don't really have anything else. All the things that's happening in my life currently are unspeakable, so they're not funny. I can't talk about them. It's like Voldemort. It's Voldemort. You should not be named. can't say.
Monica (:my god.
Kelsie (:funny. Not funny.
Monica (:Yeah.
Ashley (:Unspeakable.
Monica (:They're not, they're not funny. Yeah. Seriously.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:doing our T.S.? Is that what we're doing? We're just funny. No.
Kelsie (:I mean, postpartum's not really funny, sorry.
Nicole (:Yeah, postpartum is not funny either. Sorry, guys.
beginning to cut out.
Kelsie (:I have a,
I the asshole that's kind of funny too, if you wanna.
Monica (:Yeah, let's do it.
Nicole (:Let's do it, am I the asshole? Are you? Let's determine, is this person an asshole or not?
Monica (:am I the asshole? Our favorite.
Kelsie (:Okay.
I just want to say that it seems to be a theme that I always bring the pasta themed, am I the assholes? So.
Monica (:That's a ho.
Nicole (:you
What the
Ashley (:Hmm.
Nicole (:fuck? What the fuck?
Monica (:It's not about the
pasta!
Kelsie (:didn't do it on purpose, it's,
this time it really is about the pasta. Okay.
Nicole (:you
Jesus, okay.
Kelsie (:Am I the asshole for taking my girlfriend's lasagna home when she said I could? And I want you to know he's labeled up at the top. You know how it's like, I feel like people vote. It already says he was the asshole. So, okay.
Nicole (:β you know what? Yes.
Monica (:Okay, elaborate.
Nicole (:Mm-mm. β
Monica (:Okay.
Ashley (:Hahaha.
Nicole (:okay, great.
So you're already labeled the asshole. Just own it.
Monica (:Okay.
Kelsie (:Yeah. My
girlfriend and I are both college students. Benny has the hiccups, she might get pissed. She does not love baby hiccups. My girlfriend and I are both college students. She lives in an apartment on her own, and I live with my parents. On Sunday, my girlfriend made homemade lasagna for our date night. She made everything from scratch, including the noodles.
Nicole (:β I love baby hiccups.
Monica (:Awwww.
Ashley (:Hmm
Monica (:you
Ashley (:Mm-mm.
Nicole (:No, babies
don't. β
Ashley (:Hmm.
Nicole (:Mmm, that's a good pasta.
Kelsie (:It was really good.
So after we finished, asked if I could take lasagna home for my family to try. I think this is the key part because he doesn't say, I take the whole lasagna home? He says, can I take lasagna home? She said, yes. When I left that night, I took the tray of lasagna with me. My girlfriend didn't walk me out, so she didn't see me take the tray.
Ashley (:Mm.
Nicole (:Hmm.
no.
Kelsie (:On Monday, I got a text from my girlfriend asking where her lasagna was. I told her I had taken it home for my family. She said, I thought you were going to take some, not the whole thing. I spent most of my food budget for the week on it with the intention to eat leftovers for the rest of the week. Now I don't know what I'm going to eat. I thought...
Nicole (:Yep, you're an asshole.
Kelsie (:I felt
bad and apologized but pointed out that I had asked her if I could take it home and she didn't tell me that I couldn't take the whole tray. She said it should have been obvious that I shouldn't take the whole thing because the tray was so big. To be fair to her, it was a really big tray. My family of five only just finished the tray yesterday after eating it for dinner both nights. But I don't think the size of the tray makes it obvious that I shouldn't take it.
Nicole (:There it is. There it is.
Yeah, no. No, you're an asshole.
Ashley (:Mmm.
Kelsie (:Your family of five ate it for two dinners? Sir... Monday night and la- Yes! Monday- Yeah, Monday night and last night my girlfriend complained that she had to eat instant noodles for dinner so that she didn't blow her food budget. Today, she-
Ashley (:Mmm.
Nicole (:when that was probably gonna be her entire week's worth of dinner, if not more? I don't know.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, You took her
lasagna and then you didn't buy her dinner every night that week. Excuse me? Excuse me.
Monica (:Yeah, see, I think that's the part that he's an asshole for because mistakes
Ashley (:Yeah.
Monica (:happen, miscommunication happens, but then when she says that was my food budget, you didn't do anything to rectify it. You didn't bring her food.
Ashley (:Yeah, that's crazy.
Kelsie (:Today,
Nicole (:Hmmmm
Kelsie (:she is asking me if I can buy her a sandwich since I took her leftovers for the week. It sucks that she spent her food budget on the lasagna, but I think this is her fault for not being clear that I shouldn't take the whole thing. I don't think she...
Nicole (:No, no sir, you are a man child. You're going
Ashley (:my god.
Nicole (:to live with your mother the rest of your life. No.
Kelsie (:I don't think she's justified in asking me to buy her lunch because of it. She called me an asshole for not being willing to help her out. Am I the asshole?
Monica (:Yes she is.
Ashley (:my god.
Monica (:Yes.
Ashley (:Yes.
Nicole (:I'm surprised
Monica (:Having been seriously having been a very broke college student who like had to plan out meals like that like you 100 % are the asshole like she probably literally didn't have another option.
Nicole (:she didn't dump him. Dump that man.
Kelsie (:β
probably.
Nicole (:Listen, my family, just do it. Shut the fuck up.
Ashley (:Also, if your girlfriend ever asked you to buy her a sandwich, why, like, how are you now not just
Monica (:Yeah, answer is yes.
Kelsie (:Even if you
didn't steal her tray of lasagna, yeah, why wouldn't you buy her a sandwich?
Ashley (:buying the sandwich and talking about it? If she said, I need help buying a sandwich, and you're like, I don't think I should have to, okay, goodbye. Yeah, what a dick.
Monica (:Right? The answer is yes.
Nicole (:Yeah.
Yeah, what the fuck?
in this economy. β
Monica (:Right, especially when like,
I mean, clearly like she's living on her own. So her budget is everything. He's living at home with a family of frickin five, you can't buy her a sandwich when like, obviously, like you're not going to be homeless if you spent like $5 on a sandwich.
Nicole (:Mm-hmm.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Yeah, that's wild.
Nicole (:Here's the other thing. You live at home with your mommy and your daddy, you can't tell them. Make dinner and I'm gonna invite my girlfriend over. Can you guys, you know, like, would you please cook dinner because I stole her lasagna and I will invite her over. That way least something could have been rectified. If you can't shell out the money, you live with your parents. You brought them home lasagna that fed your whole family for two nights. Your parents can make this girl a couple meals. They can invite her over for dinner.
Monica (:Right?
Right?
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:For real.
Nicole (:other thought that I have. My family, my whole entire family, even my husband's family, both sides, we are very Italian. When we make lasagna, it costs over $100 to make one pan of lasagna. We also make the noodles by scratch. My husband is a wizard with our noodle thingy, okay? He loves to make the noodles by hand and they taste fantastic. They take forever, okay? It's a whole project. We have a production line that we do.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Nicole (:So she did that by herself. That's a lot of fucking work. Not only did she spend a lot of her food budget on that, she spent her entire day. I know she did. Okay, because also to make a good sauce, you've got to cook it for all fucking day too. So she cooked a sauce an entire day. She made noodles from scratch. If there was meat in the lasagna at all, she did that. You know what I mean? Like it's a lot of fucking work. And normally we don't make lasagna just on a whim.
Monica (:Yes.
Ashley (:Yeah, it's wild.
Monica (:Yes.
Yeah.
Nicole (:We make it because we know it's gonna feed us for a long time, or we make it when we know we're gonna have a lot of people over. So for you to just see the size of the tray and be like, that's cool if I take the whole thing home, is wild to me.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Kelsie (:If it was a small tray and you were like, okay, yeah, take the whole thing, then that would make sense. like taking the big one, if it fed your family for two nights, like your whole family, that is a huge fucking tray. And I'm the kind of person that like, especially when Trevor's gone or when he's like on a special diet or something, I meal prep, I'll make a big meal and I'll eat it the whole week, just the one thing. And it's like, aye, aye, aye.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:No, I would lose it. No, I would lose it.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:No.
Yep. Yep.
Especially when you're like Monica said when you're living alone, you're on a budget you are probably meal prepping anyway and who knows if That day that she made the lasagna. Maybe that was her only day off from work and that she you know what? mean, she had to because I would assume if you're living alone You're on a tight budget like that. You're probably working most of the time so that you can afford whatever life you want to live, right? So she maybe that was her only day that she
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:had time to meal prep for that week and that's why she made the lasagna or whatever and then and then you don't offer any way to rectify it like β shit I'm sorry miscommunication let me buy you dinner for the rest of the week let me do some let me make you dinner for the rest of the week whatever something yes
Monica (:Yeah.
I know. I mean.
Ashley (:He's too entitled, he's very entitled
Monica (:Seriously, like
Ashley (:to take that lasagna and feed it for two days.
Monica (:as a mom of boys Yeah, like as a mom of boys if my kids ever came home and were like listen, I screwed up I brought the lasagna home for us and I wasn't supposed to like no, we're gonna be fixing that
Nicole (:I fucked up.
Yeah,
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:yes, it's not hard. So yes, I'm sorry, you are the asshole. Like, I don't need any more explanation.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Well, and it's one of those things where it's like,
it doesn't need to be that big of a deal, right? Like mistakes happen, but it's easily fixed. Like, okay, you made a mistake. Make her a nice dinner then from scratch and leave the leftovers with her.
Nicole (:Yeah. Easily.
Kelsie (:What made him the asshole
was not a misunderstanding and taking the whole thing. What made him the asshole was not recognizing that he was wrong when he like, he just doubled down.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:Mm-mm.
Monica (:Yeah, and fixing it.
Ashley (:everything after.
Nicole (:He straight up
Kelsie (:always when we do an Am I the Asshole, I can like flip it and see the other side and I can't do it on this one. I'm like, nope, you were just fucking wrong.
Nicole (:Yes, almost always. I can't here. I can't. I can't.
Monica (:Yeah.
No.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:You're just
wrong. You're just... And I would also be willing to bet that he's like a mama's boy. I could make a lot of assumptions from this one. Am I the asshole?
Monica (:Just wrong. Just own it. Make it better. Buyer some food. Right.
Kelsie (:I feel like I can't
believe his mom wasn't like, my gosh, this is so much, like, I don't know, like this is. β
Nicole (:Yeah, I wonder if he didn't tell
them.
Monica (:Yeah, like she was okay with you bringing all of this home
Kelsie (:Or even if-
Nicole (:And he was like,
yeah, she said yes, and just left it at that. Like that's how I could see it going.
Kelsie (:Or even if they didn't ask,
like, like, why didn't, I can't believe they didn't, like, send her a message and be like, thank you for, like, this is, like, I just.
Monica (:Yeah. I wonder,
Nicole (:Yeah.
Monica (:I do wonder how long they've been together. Like how well does he actually know her kind of thing? Because if he's been with her for any length of time, I would like to assume that he would know like, her, budget's tight. Like this probably caused a lot of money. But then on the other side, his family, like did, did his family not know like, she made this giant ass thing of lasagna all for us.
Kelsie (:that have been very long.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Nicole (:Also on the flip side.
guess I am trying to understand it, but
Kelsie (:If it was me and I was taking some for
my family to try, I would have taken, I mean, I probably wouldn't have taken this much, but I would have taken five squares, five small squares.
Monica (:Yeah.
Nicole (:Yeah. Individual
Monica (:Right.
Kelsie (:hurry.
Ashley (:Okay, something funny
Nicole (:Okay.
Ashley (:just happened. I saw Patrick outside watering my flowers and I sent him a fire emoji and he said, what does that mean? And then he said, I came inside to look for a fire. And I said, if there was a fire, I would send you an emoji and that's how you would know? What the fu-
Nicole (:Sir,
I was trying to tell you I think you're hot. Like, what the hell? β
Monica (:Where's the fire? Excuse me, answer your text.
Ashley (:I said, I saw you. And I heard, I can hear the door open and it did. He did come in immediately after I sent the fire emoji. Like I'm up here recording a podcast and I notice a fire in our home and I'm just like, can you bring a fire extinguisher?
Nicole (:Emoji sounds great.
Ashley (:β That's funny.
Nicole (:That's
so fucking funny actually. That actually kind of goes with the story that men are kind of a little bit oblivious. So maybe this asshole in question was just fucking oblivious.
Ashley (:Yeah.
You
No, that guy was an asshole. No way around it.
Nicole (:That's so funny.
Okay, besides Patrick not understanding that his wife thinks he's attractive, in other news, my kids are now forcing me to buy them a troll because we talked about trolls on the last episode and I actually bought a troll for the bitch kit. Yay, we have things to put in our bitch kit.
Monica (:I love it. Our own
Ashley (:Yay!
A troll!
Monica (:version
of love boo-boos.
Nicole (:forgot to say, I put it on the stories. don't know if you guys saw on the, a little bit about their stories. I was in a random gas station yesterday. They had Labooboos on the thing. So the Labooboos are everywhere. But our version of Labooboos is going to be this. Yes, it's going to be this cute little troll. No, I did not get a naked one, you weirdos, but it's going to be for you. So β I'm going to make it into a key chain.
Monica (:I saw that.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Yeah, the original Labooboo is for us.
Nicole (:And then we did get some other things. We've already talked about the candle in the book. You're a little troll. We also decided to get you guys a brewmate. looks exactly like this one. And it has our, I don't know, actually, what do we end up putting on it? ALBB? Okay. It has our little initials on there. What's that called? Acronym? What is that word? Yeah, okay. Is that correct? β
Monica (:Yes.
A L B B, little bit bothered.
Ashley (:ALBB, I think. Yeah.
Monica (:Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yes.
Ashley (:Yeah? Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Nicole (:And then we're going to, we're going to load you guys up with some of our like favorite products as far as, β like skincare things go. what else did we talk about? I know we were kind of talking about including something from our besties over at, jh movement, right.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. β
Yeah, so, β J-H Movement is our friend, Jaden. She has a workout program that's online, so you can do live classes as well as on demand. And I absolutely love her classes. β they're, they're Pilates and bar and whatnot, and her classes are just really, really fun. So I've been doing them for like the last year and a half.
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:But yeah, so you guys have done the classes intermittently with me, but I absolutely love her stuff. Jayden is just absolutely wonderful. But since we are all moms and we all talk about all of the mom stuff, I highly recommend her classes because it does wonders for your core and pelvic floor and all of the things. It's made such a big difference. we love supporting Jayden. So.
Kelsie (:Me too. Big fan.
I'm very excited to get cleared because I'm excited to do her postpartum core program. β
Ashley (:Mm-hmm.
Monica (:Mm-hmm.
